Roz Rope
Roz Rope earned her bachelor of science degree in education from Wayne State University in 1966. She has also taken graduate courses in education at Michigan State University. Mrs. Rope taught for three years in Okemos Public Schools (located in the Lansing, Michigan, area) and later was a substitute teacher for the Berkley Public School System.
In 1976 she began teaching communications in private business schools. As the "resident communications expert" at Pontiac Business Institute for ten years, Roz was asked to write an instructors' manual to help trainers communicate information clearly. A dynamic speaker, she has been presenting successful seminars in both effective business writing and effective telephone techniques for many well-known manufacturing and service companies in Michigan and Ohio since 1987. Her client list includes companies such as Saturn, Detroit Diesel, Alexander Hamilton Life, American Society of Employers, and Wayne State University.
Roz has previously edited novels for publication, and she currently authors a column in the American Society of Employers (ASE) Bulletin. She has also served as a judge for the International Training In Communication (ITC) annual speech contest and as an Advisory Board member for Detroit Business Institute.
